About Ultrasonic Thickness

Ultrasonic inspection uses high frequency sound waves for detection of flaws, imperfections or changes in properties within materials. The thickness of the sample, the depth and type of flaw can be ascertained using this method. It has become a widely used test method in NDT due to its reliability and accurate measurements. 

Please note that you cannot complete Ultrasound Testing (Welds) unless course Ultrasonic Testing (Thickness) is completed.

UT Thickness Examinations
We provide UT Plate Tester PCN examinations to ISO 20807 level 2

The UTT Level 2 examination includes a specific paper and practical exam.
