Phased Array (Welds) Week 2

  • TCS NDT 124 Radium Street Welshpool, WA, 6106 Australia (map)

Phased Array (Welds) Level II
80 Hours Course

About Phased Array

Ultrasonic inspection uses high frequency sound waves for detection of flaws, imperfections or changes in properties within materials. The terms Phased relates to the use of electronic excitation with time shifts or delays, array meaning numerous or many, in relation to the multi-element probe. The beam generated can be steered and focused without physical moving parts. This method allows greater flexibility for inspection of complex geometries, and can be applied to any application conventional UT can.

Phased Array Examinations
We provide Phased Array Weld Testing examinations to level 2
